Assistant Accountant

Duties and responsibilities
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Processing monthly journals and preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of bank reconciliations
- Preparation and review of the month-end process.
- Assist with managing the fixed asset register for multiple entities
- Maintaining the general ledger
- Profit and loss reporting
- Assisting with the forecasting and budget preparation cycle.
- Assisting with ad hoc projects and the general needs of the finance function as required
- Inter-company reconciliations and maintenance of inter-company accounts monthly
- Assisting with preparation and lodgement of compliance reporting such as BAS, IAS, FBT
- Assisting with annual audit requirements.
- Assist with AR/AP processing
Previous skills and experience:
- Degree Qualified
- 1-2 years’ experience as an Assistant Accountant
- Have excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Chinese
- Ambition to grow and progress within the company
- A proven ability to take initiative and find solutions
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel a must)
- Ability to work autonomously
